Clinical controlled study of robot-assisted surgery versus open surgery for thyroid malignant tumors

AbstractObjective：ToevaluatetheaplicationvalueoftheDa Vinciroboticsurgicalsysteminthyroidmalignant tumorsurgeryand provideevidencforitspromotion.Methods：Aretrospectiveanalysiswasconductedon193thyroidmalignantumorpatientswhowere treatedattheDepartmentofGeneralSurgery，the4OthHospitalofLAJointLogstcSupprtForcefromJanuary2O18toecember 2019.Afterexcluding20caseslosttofollow-up，173cases wereicluded.PatientsweredividedintotheRTgroup（n=71，receiving robot-assisted thyroidectomy） and OT group （ n=102 ，receiving open surgery） based on surgical approach. Perioperative indicators， patientsatisfactionscores，postoperative hospitalstay，andhospitalizationcosts werecomparedbetweenthetwogroupsofpatints. Results： No significant difference in baseline characteristics was found between the two groups （ P- >0.05）. Statistically significant diferences wereservedinintraoperativebloodlos，perativetime，engthofhospitalstayhspitaltionosts，inoson postoperativeday/day2，transienthypocalcemiaonpostoperativeday1，subjective voice/swallowingsymptomscoresat1day/1 week/3months/6 months after surgeryand cosmetic/patient satisfactionscoresat1wek/3 months/6 monthsaftersurgery <0.05）. No significantdiferencserefoundineumberoflhodsdissted，ositivelyhodes，mannthocalceiaat hypoparathyroidis，iflmatoryakers（I6，C，）oostoperatieda1，isosoosoperatied3，baou emphysema，or incision healing （P>0.05） ）.Conclusion： The application of Da Vinci robotic surgical system in thyroid carcinomas is safe and effective， which has considerable clinical value and development prospects.
