Efficacy of MAKO robot-assisted total hip arthroplasty

AbstractObjective:Toanalyzetheeffcacyof theMAKOrobotintotalhiparthroplasty (THA).Methods: 42patients whounderwent THA at Beijing UnitedFamily Hospitalfrom September 2020 to May 2O24 were selectedandrandomly divided intothe study group 0 n =21,receivingMobotasistedH)ndteoolgoup(n=eivigoveioal).Allsurgerieswerepefodi posterolateralaproacheropatieicators,dlogialarameers,topativeHarrsHSsndoplicatiateee comparedbetwenthe two groups.Results: Intraoperativebloodlossandoperativetime weresignificantlylowerinthestudygroupthan those in the control group, while preoperative preparation time and hospitalization costs were higher ( P <0.05). Postoperative Harris Hip Scores wereimprovedinbothgroups,withthestudy groupshowingsignificantlyhgherscoresat1,3,and6monthspostopratively( P <0.05). Thestudygroupalsoshowdsuperiorotcoes inacetabularabductioange,acetabularanteversionangle,ombedfsetdsepancy, and leg length discrepancy (P<0.05) . Conclusion: MAKO robot-assisted THA can improve the precision of prosthesis implantation and enhance postoperative hip joint function, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
