Abstract:JinlingNo.102isanewbreedofCucurbitamoschatahybridwithsmallfruittypeformeat,which isproduced fromXiaomi13(femaleparent) × Tai1-9(male parent).This cultivar isof high quality,with strong disease resistance, vigorous growthandwideadaptability.Itis medium-earlymaturing,takingabout1O9days fromsowing tofirstharvest in springand85 days inautumn.The fruit is pear-shaped,withanaverage longitudinal diameterof 16cm anda transverse diameter of 12.5cm ,and average single fruit mass is 1.1kg The skin is dark green with light yellow spots,smooth, shiny, and less prone to cracking or rust spots.The ridges are shallow or absent.The flesh isyellow and about 2.2cm (204号 inthickness.The moisture content is 84.72g⋅100g-1 ,thestarch content is 6.58g⋅100g-1 ,the soluble sugar content is 3.34g⋅100g-1 ,and the crude fiber content is 0.8g⋅100g-1 .Ithasa good taste and flavor when steamed or boiled,with fine texture,strongstickiness,strongchestnutflavor,puretaste,andweak skinsensation.Thefruit graduallbecomes sweetafterbeing storedforaperiodof time,butthestickiness weakens,anditcanbeeatenwiththeskin.Itshows resistance to major pumpkin diseases such as powdery mildew in the field,has strong tolerance to wetnessand waterlogging, but is relatively weak inshadeanddroughttolerance.Itis suitable foropen-fieldcultivationinlow-altitude areas suchas Guangdong,Hunan,Hubei,YunnanandGuizhou,withayieldof 1500kg⋅667m-2
