A Bibliometric Study on Visualization Research in China's Editing and Publishing

Abstract： Visualizationserves asbothanew research methodanddirection ineditingand publishing，witha growingbodyof relatedstudiesemerginginChinainrecentyears.TisstudyemployedbibliometricmethodstosttiticallyanalyzeandreviewVisualizationresearchinChina’seditingandpublishing，withtheaimofprovidingreferencesfortheapplicationanddevelopmentofvisualizationtechnology.Theresultsindicatethatoverthepast3Oyears，VisualizationresearchinChinaseditingandpublishingfieldhas generallshowanoverallgrowthtrend.ThetophreejoualswereChinaNewspaperIndustryhuanboYuanquan，andScience Technology&Publishing.Researchersareprimarilyconcentratedinuniversitiesandresearchinstitutions，withBeijingInstituteof GraphicCommunication，WuhanUniversityandNanjing Universityemergingasrepresentativeresearchorganization.Notableresearchers includedWangGuoyan，YaoYuting，andLiuJinhong.Theresearchhotspots mainlyfocusonvisualizationresearchmeth ods，visualizationtecologimplemenation，dvisualizatiotchnologyaplicatios.Tevsualizatioresearchcanbdividedint two stages，namelytheexploratoryphaseofvisualizatioresearch（1995-2O12）andtherapiddevelopmentphaseofvisualizationesearch （2013-2024）.
