Abstract：TheassociationstandardT/CBWAoo28-2O24，Rapidtestingmethodofcoalperformanceindex—Lasernduced breakdownspectroscopy，wasoffcialleleasedonOctober29，2024.Thispaperprovidesadetailedinterpretationof the standard，coveringitsbackgroundandsignificance，developmentprinciples，maintechnicalcontent，andapplication status.Itaims tohelprelevantpersonnel tobeterunderstand thestandardamongrelevantstakeholders，therebypromoting its widespreadadoption.Thestandard isdesigned toregulatecriticalinks inthermal power enterprises，includingcoal sampling，coalqualitytesting，anddataverification，toenhance themanagementeficiencyandeconomicperformanceof theseenterprises，support thecleanandeffcientutilizationoffosilenergyresources，and improve thestandards system for coal quality testing in the thermal power industry.
