Abstract：Anhui'slocal standardDB34/T4713-2024，Operational standardforsafety monitoringofurban lifeline engineeringwasoffciallyreleasedonJanuary11，2004，andwasimplementedonJuly11，2024.Thestandardaims to standardize the monitoring and operation of urban lifeline enginering in Anhui province and improve the level of safe operation ofurban lifeline enginering.The backgroundand main contentof the standard were introduced，the key provisions were interpreted，theinnovativepointsofthe standard were sortedout，andthereflectionsandsuggestions forthe applicationof the standard were proposed，providing guidanceandreferenceforrelevant practitioners to beter understand and implement the standard.
