Design and Performance Analysis of an Intelligent Polypropylene ParticlesDefectDetectionSystem

Abstract: [Purposes] With the deep penetration of inteligent manufacturing in the chemical industry, the accuracy and effciency of quality inspection for polypropylene (PP)particles have become key factors affecting their high-end applications.To address industry pain points such as low manual inspection efficiency,inconsistent standards,fedback lag,and data silos inthePPparticle inspection process,this study designs an intelligent defect detection system for polypropylene particles.[Methods] Relying on a large-model technology architecture,the system achieves automated detection and quantitative analysis of key particle indicators through industrial vision acquisitionand AI-powered intelligent analysis. [Findings] Performance analysis indicates that the system can significantly reduce labor costs (by approximately 80% ), lower the missed detection rate (to
