Study on Boundary Optimization and Slope Stability of Underground to Open Pit

Abstract: [Purposes] TheA1 ore body of amine is buried shallow,and the original design is underground mining. In view of the characteristics of long construction period in the early stage of underground mining and significantly low ore dilution rate and los rate in open-pit mining ,in order to achieve safe and effcient production,this study proposes to use open-pit mining scheme.[Methods] Based on the actual geological conditions of the mine,a three-dimensional geological model was constructed by using 3DMine software,and the mining boundary and stope parameters were optimized by combining the LG graph theory method,and the slope stability was assessed by FLAC3D numerical simulation.[Findings] The results show that the parameter combination of safety platform width 4 m,cleaning platform width 6 m, step height 15m ,highway slope 9∘ , highway width 8 m and step slope angle 70∘ can meet the requirement of slope safety factor 1.2.[Conclusions] The research resultsprovide theoretical basis and technical support for the optimal design of open-pit mining of bauxite.
