Research on Fault Diagnosis Method for Wind Power Converters and Designof PortablePlatform

Abstract: [Purposes] The wind power converter is a key component in wind turbines for grid-connected operation.Due to its diverse fault types and complex operating environment,traditional detection methods often sufer from high misdiagnosis rates and poor adaptability in practical applications.To improve the accuracy and robustness of fault diagnosis,this paper designs an algorithm integrating fuzzy logic reasoning with a rule-tree decision mechanism.[Methods] The algorithm collcts key operational parameters in real time—such as bus voltage,current,temperature,and resistance—performs fuzzy processing on these data,and constructs a three-layer reasoning model of "fault feature - fuzzy state - diagnosis output" to achieve accurate fault identification.[Findings] The system was tested on 12O experimental samples,and results show that the fault recognition accuracy of the proposed algorithm reaches 98.7% , demonstrating significant improvements in accuracy, efficiency,and robustness compared to traditional methods.[Conclusions] The results validate the engineering practicality and potential for widespread application of the proposed method in the intelligent operation and maintenance of wind power converters.
