Thermal Runaway Mechanism of New Energy Vehicle Power Battery and Optimization of Active Temperature Management System

Abstract:Thermalrunawayofnew energyvehiclepowerbatteriescancause serious problems suchasbatteryperformancedegradationandsafetyhzards,necesittingtheestablsmentofneicient temperaturemanagementsystemtcontrolbattryteperature.Thispaper elaborates onthesignificanceofpowerbaterythermalmanagement innew energyvehicles,analyzes the triggering mechanismandinfluencingfactorsofpowerbaterythermalrunaway,andthenproposesanoptimizationdesignshemeforanactive temperaturemanagementsysteminresponse tothelimitationsoftraditionalpasivetemperaturemanagementsystems.Theoptiization includeshardwarestructureoptimizationandcontrolstrategyoptimization.Theoptimizedactivetemperature managementsystemcan effectivelycontrolthetemperatureofpowerbaterieseduetheralrunaayiss,threbyimproingbaterysafetyandservicelife. This research provides newtechnical approachesandoptimization solutions forpower batery temperature management innewenergy vehicles.
