Abstract:Inorderto solve the problemoffault monitoring intheoperation of power cables,starting fromthe analysisof thecomposition,functional requirements and technical indicators ofthe monitoring system,acable fault monitoring system was built based on the high-frequency pulse current method.The monitoring process and method of partial discharge monitoring system were analyzes andoptimizes,and the cable fault ina current harmonic environment by improving the optimization strategy were detects andanalyzes.The results showed thatthe of-line monitoring partial discharge monitoring system could monitor thecable electrical signalandotherdata in thecurrent harmonic environment inreal time,and accurately judge the cable fault point in the current harmonic environment,and therange was accurate within 2O maround the monitoring point.Combined with the cable setting during cable operation inthe current harmonic environment,the precise location of the cable faultcouldbe further investigated,and the cause of the cable fault and the cable troubleshooting measures could be given in combination with the monitoring system database.
