Abstract:Multi-sensordatafusiontechnologyisextremelyimportantinthefieldofgeomaterials,whichcanenhance the comprehensivenessand accuracy of material performance assessment,optimize the engineering design and construction process,and improve the safety,reliabilityand economic eficiencyof the project.Real-time monitoring and performance evaluation of soil,rocks and geosynthetics can be integrated with multi-sensor data. Despite the many benefits offred bydata fusion technologies,implementation challenges such asdata heterogeneityandbig data processing are stillpresent.In viewofthis,future research directions should focus ondeveloping more eficient data fusionalgorithms,improving data processng capabilities,and exploring the integration of new sensor technologies and Internetof Thingsapplications,soas to give fullplaytothe application potentialofmulti-sensordata fusion technology in civil engineering
