Association Between Chinese Visceral Adiposity Index and Osteoarthritis in Chinese Elderly Population

Abstract：ObeieTexplosocaioeeCevisalositdeC）ndthsfteoartriO elderlypopulatioMethsAtotalof6patitsoereospialdinhenepretofthsteople'sHspialofsio fromJanuary2toeembr24werecdedAodingtotheuartilfCVteyeredividedintoop（649）.Theald clicalataofcoeompdultialsicessosdaloelatoCndauef CVAIinthedagosisofOAwasevauatedbyorkingharacterisicure（OC）.ResultsdividualsihigherCVeresualldead higher proportion of women，and had a higher proportion of smoking and drinking （ P< 0.05）.Thelevelsof TGand FPGinthehigherCVAI groupwere higher，whilethe levelsof TC，HDL-CandLDL-C were relatively lower（ P<0.05 ）.MultivariateLogisticregressionanalysis showed that CVAI was positively correlated with OA risk（ P <0.05）.Inthefullyadjustedmodel，forevery1OunitsincreaseinCVAI，theriskofOAincreasedby 29 % comparedwithteQgouthgstOvalueofOAiskinteQ4grouas24.eresultsoftestrictedcubicsline（CS）ueowd thatCVIandOAiskshowedalineardoseresponserelatonship.TheareaundertheROCcurveasO.75，suggestingtatCVdeter diagnosticabilityecisiouealysisDCA）furthrproveditspracticalplicioaueincalpdictioCoclusioisloely associated withOArisk，providing newinsights into theroleof visceralfatinthedevelopmentandprogressionofOA.
