Abstract:A 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band electromagnetic absorber structure based on Dual Split-Ring Resonator is designedfortheWLANbandoflaptops.Theabsorberstructureconsistsofthreeparts:metalresonantlayer,dielectriclayerand metaleflectivelayer.The metalresonantlayerunitrealizes the miniaturizationanddual-bandcharacteristicsof theabsorberby using two embedded curved Split-Ring Resonator structures.The simulation results showthat the peak absorptionrates of the absorber structure at 2.42 GHz and 5.2 GHz resonant frequencies can reach 97% and 98% ,respectively.Moreover, the structure of the metalresonant unitoftheabsorber is simple,and theresonant frequencyofthe absorbercan be adjustedbyadjusting the structural parametersof theresonantunit.This design provides areference forthe subsequent design of electromagnetic absorbers for the WLAN band of laptops.
