Abstract： Withtherapid developmentofUAVandartifcial intelligence technology，the applicationofUAVinfeld rescue is becoming moreand more extensive.This paper summarizes theapplication status of UAV facerecognitiontechnology in field rescue，analyzes its techncal advantages andchallenges，and proposesanapplication strategy basedonthermalimaging technologyandYOLOv8n modeltosolvethe problemsofloweffciencyof traditional searchand rescue metodsandifcult positioning of trapped personnel.Itcanefectivelyidentifyrescue targets withmultiple atitudes incomplex environments.At the sametime，thecorearchitectureof theUAVrescuesystem isexpounded，andtheactualeffctofthealgorithmis verified. Theexperimentalresultsshowthattheoptimizedsystemhasgoodeffectivenessandreliabilityincomplexenvironment，which significantly improves the eficiencyandsuccessrateoffieldrescue，and provides newtechnicalsupportfor theapplication in this field.
