Abstract:The traditional Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) has the problems of high structural profile and low outof-band utof performance.Inthis paper,adesignmethodoffourth-order band-pass frequencyselectivesurface with high rectangularityis proposed.Byusing radiating-guided wave structure,the high-order band-pass frequencyselective filtering characteristics are realized. The frequency selective surface has a very low profile ( 2mm )and a very high rectangularity (2.8). Undertheirradiationofelectromagneticwaveswithdifferent incidentangles,itshighrectangularityperformancecanstillbe maintained. Finally,a 10×10 array FSS is designed and fabricated,and its transmission characteristicsare tested and verified. The test results show that the design method is feasible.
