Design and Simulation of Anti-sway Control System for Bridge Crane

Abstract: The paper focuses on the common problem of load sway during thelifting operation of bridge cranes,takes a certaintype of bridge craneas the research object,combines thetwo common drive sources of dual-speed motorsand variable frequency motors inpracticalapplications,and designs twoanti-swaycontrol systemsbasedondiferent software andhardware configurations.Amathematicalmodelof theloadswaysystemisestablishedthroughtheLagrangeequation,andtheanti-sway efects of thetwoanti-swaycontrolsystems are simulatedand analyzed using MATLAB/Simulink simulation software.The analysisesultsshowthatthetodesignedanti-swaycontrolsystemsbothhavegoodanti-swayperformance,andtheanti-sway parametersof tecontrolsystemscanbeadjustedaccording todiferent usage scenarios,providing practicalandfeasiblemethods and ideas for solving the problem of load sway in bridge cranes.
