Abstract：BasedonPiereBourdieu’stheoryofsocialpractice，takingYanFuandhistranslationof Tianyanlunasanexample，this paperanalyzesYanFu’sactioalspace （feld），actionresources（capital），actiontendencies （abitus），andactionlogic（practice）befor the publication of the translated work.It constructs the analytical model“Translator’s Action Capital × Habitus + Field”to explain the interalmotivatiosforYanFutobcoethetraslatorofTanyanlun，ndtodcodetelogicalmechanismbhindthetranslato'sha iors.TheanalysisinicatesthatYanFu’stranslationbehaviorasaconsciouschoicemadebyhminaspecificsocialstructureandcultur alcontextosrorecaianddsusiepowerhissdyightstiteractitetwntetaslatorsagecdteso cial field，providing a new analytical framework for the field of translation studies.
