Abstract:As thecore driving force of enterprise digital technology innovation,data elements have become the key strategic resources to promote the development of digital economy.The establishment of a data trading platform is used as a quasi-natural experiment to systematically study the effect of data factor marketization on enterprise digital technology innovation.The study finds that:the development of data factor marketization can effectively enhance the level of digital technology innovation of enterprises,and the conclusion still holds after a number of tests;mechanism analysis shows that data factor marketization effectively drives enterprises to carry out digital technology innovation by promoting enterprise digital transformationand alleviating financing constraints;heterogeneity test shows that the promotion effect of data factor marketization on enterprise digital technology innovation is more significant in the manufacturing industry and non-state-owned enterprises.The heterogeneity test shows that the promotion effect of data factor marketization on enterprises’digital technology innovation is more significant in manufacturing and non-state-owned enterprises.The research provides theoretical support and practical insights for enterprises to fully release the value of data elementsand deepen digital technology innovation.
