The Impact of Regional Integration Policy on the Improvement of Urban Green Technology Innovation Level：A Quasi-natural Experiment Based on the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta

Abstract:Based on the panel data of41 prefecture-level and above cities in the YangtzeRiver Delta region from 2Ol2 to 2O22，this study explores the impact mechanism of regional integration policies on the level of urban green technology innovation.Taking the establishment of the G6o Science and Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta as a quasi-natural experiment，the difference-in-differences method is used to analyze whether the G6o Science and Innovation Coridor policy in the Yangtze River Delta has a significant impact on urban green technology innovation.Robustness tests are cared out using methods such as adding control variables，placebo tests，and counterfactual tests，and a heterogeneityanalysis is also conducted.At the same time,a mediating efect test is used to further analyze the impact mechanism.The study finds that：the establishment of the G6o Science and Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta has a significant positive promoting efect on urban green technology innovation；the heterogeneity analysis shows that the establishment of the G6o Science and Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta has a significant difference in the impact on the green technology innovation of cities of different sizes，with a greater enhancement in large-scale cities；the construction of the G60 Science and Innovation Corrdor in the Yangtze River Delta mainly improves the level of urban gren technology innovation by promoting the agglomeration of capital,talent，and technological innovation factors. This study provides a new perspective for analyzing the economic and environmental effects of regional integration policies，and offers reference for regional policy formulation，adjustment and optimization，as well as the green transformation of enterprises.
