Abstract:Inthispaper,awearableelderly healthmonitoringandalarmsystembasedonInternetof Things (IoTtechnology isdesignedtomeetthehealthmonitoringneedsoftheelderlyinanagingsociety.Thesystemintegratesmulti-parameter physiologicalsensors,microcontrolers,GPSpositioningmodules,wirelesscommunicationmodules,real-timedisplamodulesloud serviceplatformsandmobileappstoachievereal-timemonitoringandabnormalwamingofkeyphysiologicalindicatorssuchas heartrate,bloodoxygensaturation,bloodpressreandbodymovementstatus.Whenauseraccidentallfallsorphysiological indicatorsexceedthenormalrange,alainformationwillbesenttothepresetuserscaregiversorommunitymedicalpersonel throughSMSandemail,soastoprovidefeasibletechnicalsolutionsforhome-basedelderlycareandcommunitymedical services.Throughtesting,thedeviceandremoteterminalswhenthesystemisrumingnormalycanmonitortargetparametersin realtime,andalarmintimewhentherearesafetyrisks,whichcanefectivelyreducepotentialsafetyrisksfortheelderly.
