Abstract:Takingahighwayreconstructionprojectasanexample,theapplicationofemulsifiedasphaltcoldrecycled mixturein theprojectwasexploredInthedesignof mixtures,focusonparameterssuchasmoisturecontent,cementandemulsifiedasphalt content.After test verification,it was determined that the optimal moisture content was 6.5% ,theoptimal emulsified asphalt content was 4% ,and the cement content was 2% . Quicklime was selected as the additive, and the content was 1% . The emulsified asphalt cold recycled mixtureaspreparedacordingtothebestmixratioandafterpavingandompaction,atestsectionwasselectedtomeasure its application efect. The results show that the porosity of the mixture in the test section is 9.3 % ,which meets the requirement of no more than 10% in the specification; the average density of the cold recycled mixture on the day after paving and compaction is 2.210g/cm3 and the average density on the next day has reached 2.223 g/em³,which shows a high degree of compaction.
