Abstract:Radiativecooling paintisanenvironmentall friendlyandenergy-saving technology thatachieves pasivecoling byradiatingheattotheuniverse.Duetoitssimplity,lowcost,andeaseofimplementation,ithasshowngreataplication potentialinfieldssuchasbuildingenergysavingandelectronicequipmentcolinginrecentyears.Solarreflectanceiscrucial forimprovingthecoolingeficiencyofradiativecolingpaints.Thispaperreviewstheresearchprogressofradiativecooling paints,focusingonthe mechanisms forenhancingsolarreflectanceandtheroutes toachieveit.Throughthesummaryand analysisofthreediferentimplementationapproaches-highrefractiveindexpigments,lowrefractiveindexairvoids,andhigh pigmentvolumeconcentration-andtheoutlookonthreefuturetechnologicalpathways,thisreviewaimstoprovideatheoretical foundatioandtechnicalguidanceforfurtheroptimizationofthedaytimecoolingperformanceandwideappicationofradiative cooling paints.
