Abstract:Biocharwaspreparedfromhazelnutshelsandheatedathightemperaturefor3Ominutes.Thesurface functional groups of biochar were determined by Boehm titration and FTIR. Biochar has 50.98% fixed carbon and its specific surface area is 382.66m2/g SEM imagesshow that biochar hasa cylindrical and wellshaped porousstructure,which increasestheadsorption surface area. The operating parameters of bisphenol Sadsorption were optimized.The qm of the experiment was 53.6mg/g BiocharremovesbisphenolSinthepresenceof multiplepolutants.Functionalgroupspresentonbiocharshowaffnityfor bisphenol s> methylene blue> phenol> mercury.
