Abstract:Thin-rimwhelshavebecomethemain formoftrainwheels.Inorder toreduceitswearoncurvedsections,the efectofcurvedraillubricationonwhelwearwasstudied.Byestablishingavehicle-trackcoupleddynamicmodel,thwear lawsof wornwhelsunderdiferentcurveradiiandtrackbottomslopesareanalyzedwhen thewhee-railfrictioncoefficentsare changed.Theresultsshowthatthewhee-railcontactperformancedecreasesafterwearing,andthecontactcharacteristicsarethe worstwhenmatchingthewornwhel-newtrack,butthemaximumvaluesofderalmentcoeffcientandwheelweightreduction rate decrease by 57.9%and 9.4% respectively,indicating that trains with thin rims are more difficult to derail when crossing curves.Reducingthewhee-railfrictioncoeffientcanefectivelyreduceweelwear,andthesmallrthecurveradius,themore obvioustheefect,whiletherailbotomslopehaslessinfluenceonthewearindexAsymmetriclubricationcontrolofinnerand outerrailsismoreconducivetofrictionreduction.Whenthefrictioncoeficientoftheinnerrailisfixed,thewearindexofthe inerandouterwheelsdecreasesasthefrictioncoefcientoftheouterraildecreases,andthefrictionreductionrateoftheouter wheelsisfaster.Whenthewheel-railfrictioncoeficientdropstoO.1,thewheelfatiguefactorislessthanO,andsurfacfatigue isnoteasytoocur.Basedonthesimulationresults,measuressuchasasymmetricfrictioncontrolorreducingthewhel-rail frictioncoeffcienttoO.1arerecommendedtoreducerimwearandextendwheelfe,providingtheoreticalreferenceandbasis for improving economy.
