Abstract:ThispapercombinesthecharacteristicsofwaterdiversionflowinYongxing RiverIrigationArea,relieson moderInternetof Thingstransmisiontechnology,andusesradarwaveflowmeasurementprinciplestorealizethebesttechnical solutionforopenchannelcross-sectionflowmeasurement.Throughactualcomparison,thecomparativeadvantagesofthisflow measurementtechnical solutionarelowconstructionandoperationcosts,theaccuracyofchannelcross-sectionflowmeasurement canmetcurrentnationalregulatoryrequirements,andtheperformanceoftheworkandoperationprocess isstableandreliable. ThiswillfurtherimprovetheautomationlevelandeffciencyoffowmonitoringinYongxingRiverIrigationAreainFengtai County,andsolvethebotleneckproblemofutomaticflowmeasurementinmaincanalsandbranchcanalsintheirigationarea under unattended conditions.
