Abstract：ThispaperinvestigatesthegeologicaldisastersinDiangaTown，GansuProvince，andfindsthatlandslides，colapses， debrisflows，andotherdisastersocurfrequentlyinthisarea，posingaseverethreattothelivesandpropertyoflocalresidents. Throughin-depthanalysisofthetypes，quantitiesnddistributionpatesofgeologicaldisasters，itisrevealedthatdebrisflows aretheprimarydisastertypeandaremostlydistributedinanasymmetricalbeltalongthebanksoftheBailongRiver.The temporalditributionofgeologicaldisastersalignswiththeperiodicchangesinainfallwithover9O%ocurringduringtherainy seasonfromJunetoOctober.Thesedisastershaveresultedindamagetohouses，infrastructure，andcasualties，causingsignificant economiclosses.Therefore，strengtheninggeologicaldisastermonitoringandearlywarningandimprovingdisasterpreventionand mitigationcapabiliesareofgreatsignificanceforsafeguardingthelivesandpropertyoflocalpeople.Thisstudyprovidesscientific evidence and technical support for the local government's efforts in disaster prevention and mitigation.
