Abstract：Inthedigital economyenvironment，smart water managementsystemhasledthewaterconservancyindustryintoa newstageofdevelopment.Basedonthe domesticwatersystemresearchresultsandenginering practice，thedevelopmenthistory ofdomesticsmartwatermanagementsystemfromdigitalconstructiontointelligntsensingandintellgentmanagementandcontrol issummarized.Thedevelopmentofsmart watermanagementsystematthisstageiselaboratedandanalyzedfrom fouraspects： watersuply，sewagetreatment，floodcontrol，andpipenetworkleakagecontrol.Finally，wesummarizetheshortcomingsof development at the current stage and look forward to the future development trend.
