Research on Identification of 1000kV UltraHigh Voltage Fault CharacteristicsBasedonRecordedWaveData

Abstract:[Purposes] To addressthe complexity offault feature recognition in 1OookV ultra-high voltage transmission systems,a method for identifying fault features in ultra-high voltage systems is studied. [Methods] Through in-depth analysis of fault waveform data,a combination of wavelet transform and Fourierdecomposition is used to construct a model for identifying fault features in ultra-high voltage systems.[Findings] There is asignificant correlation between thevoltage and current transients in the recorded data and the type of fault.The fault feature recognition system developed based on this has an accuracy rate of over 95% in practical applications,and can effectively identify various fault types including winding turn to turn short circuits,lightning strikes,and series capacitor faults.[Conclusions] This fault feature recognition method provides important technical support for the safe and stable operation of ultra-high voltage power grids.
