Abstract： [Purposes] This study aims to advance the high-quality development of the innovation ecosystem surrounding Henan Academy of Sciences，facilitate the construction of a national innovation hub in Henan Province，and promote high-quality economic growth in the region.[Methods] Based on innovation ecosystem theory，this research systematically analyzes the construction logic and practical bottlenecks of the innovation ecosystem around Henan Academy of Sciences，while conducting a comparative study of advanced domestic practices in innovation ecosystem development.[Findings] Compared with other developed regions in China，the innovation ecosystem around Henan Academy of Sciences exhibits several shortcomings including inadequate policy support effectiveness，imperfect collaborative innovationmechanisms，incomplete evaluation systems，and relatively singular funding channels.[Conclusions] Integrating relevant innovation ecosystem theories and drawing on advanced domestic experiences，this paper proposes building a new innovation ecosystem model through enhancing the overall quality of scientific and technological services，optimizing the talent innovation ecosystem，improving financial support systems，and perfecting full-chain achievement transformation mechanisms.These recommendations provide both theoretical reference and practical solutions for developing Henan Academy of Sciences'innovation ecosystem and optimizing regional innovation ecology.
