Abstract:[Purposes]This study aims to explore the knowledge service model of smart libraries based on the microservice architecture,with the expectation that the microservice system can improve the fficiency of library resource integration,beter meet user needs,and enhance the quality of library knowledge services.[Methods]First,we define the concepts related to smart libraries and microservice architecture.Based on this, we analyze the current core components of smart library construction and conduct an in-depth discusson on the microservice architecture of smart libraries,including the construction of microservice platforms,microservice interaction,microservice-based reading resource management,and technical support for microservices.Then,we propose construction strategies for the microservice architecture of smart libraries,such as building a microservice framework,service innovation,technical enhancement,and user experience improvement from the perspectives of service platforms,technical support,team services,and content.[Findings] Through this research,a relatively complete knowledge service system for smart libraries has been developed.This study provides a clearer approach to the construction of smart libraries,enabling beter integration of various resources,improved service flexibility

and personalization,and better satisfaction of user needs.[Conclusions] The knowledge service model of smart libraries based on microservice architecture offers theoretical advantages.In this era ofrapid technological development,it can leverage new technologies to update service models,enhanceuser experience,and provide the public with more convenient access to knowledge.
