Research on Passenger Flow Organization Optimization of Rail Transfer Station Based on Anylogic

Abstract: [Purposes] Under the background of daily large passenger flow, this study takes Chongqing Shapingba Station as a case to explore the optimization method for passenger flow organization in transfer stations using simulation techniques,thereby providing insights for addressing congestion issues in actual operations.[Methods] Based on Anylogic software,a two-dimensional base map and a three一 dimensional dynamic model were constructed to accurately simulate pedestrian activities and facility layouts at Shapingba Station.By adjusting equipment layouts and wayfinding measures,pedestrian efficiency and comfort were improved.The diferences before and after optimization were thoroughly analyzed to verify the feasibility of the proposed solutions.[Findings]The results demonstrate that the optimization method efectively reduces pedestrian density,queue length,and time spent entering and exiting the station, as confirmed by simulation.[Conclusions] Optimizing facility quantity and layout while strengthening passenger guidance can significantly enhance operational eficiency, shorten passenger waiting times,and mitigate the impact of complex transfer passenger flows in large-scalerail transit stations.The proposed optimization scheme can also serve as a reference for operational adjustments and improvements in similar types of rail transit stations.
