Operation Problems and Countermeasures of Ultra-Low Emission Denitrification Facilitiesin Coal-Fired PowerPlants

Abstract:[Purposes] To analyze the issues related to NOxcontrol during the ultra-low emission retrofit of coal-fired power plants,providing a reference for the safe,stable,and environmentally friendly operation of units.[Methods] Practical problems encountered with the denitrification facilitiesafter ultra-low emission retrofit were summarized and deeply analyzed.[Fingdings] The phenomenon of ammonia slip is particularly prominent after ultra-low emission retrofit,and its occurrence mechanism is strongly related to factors such as catalyst performance degradation,unit load fluctuations,control of nitrogen oxide emission concentrations,and the reliability of online ammonia slip monitoring instruments.Additionally,it also has significant links to low-nitrogen combustion technology and equipment maintenance.[Conclusions]Based on the operational characteristicsand actual working conditions of the power plant, establishing a comprehensive management system and formulating diffrentiated comprehensive treatment planscan effectivelyachieve reliable operation of theunit.
