Monitoring and Evaluation of Sudden Pollution Events Based on Drone Technology

Abstract:[Purposes] This study investigates the monitoring and evaluation of sudden polltion events based on drone technology to address the limitations of traditional monitoring methods.[Methods] Taking an industrial waste gas leakage event as a case study,the drone system was equipped with a variety of sensors to monitor air quality,gas concentrations,and meteorological conditions in real time,and dynamic evaluation of the pollution event was conducted by combining multidimensional data.[Findings] The monitoring data showed that the drone-based system could respond rapidly to pollution events,capturing pollutant concentrations and dispersion pattrns in real time while providing high-precision data support.The system significantly expanded the monitoring coverage,enabling comprehensive assessment of the accident site and surrounding areas.[Conclusions] The drone system enables rapid deployment and data collection after pollution events,providing timely and accurate pollution assessment data.
