Abstract:[Purposes] This article aims to summarize and analyze the latest research progress in laser adhesive welding and promote its application in the connection of metal bipolar plates.[Methods]A comprehensive analysis of the principle,advantages,disadvantages,current development status,and future development trends of laser adhesive welding was conducted.[Fingdings] Laser adhesive welding offers core advantages such as high sealing,low deformation,and process flexibility in the manufacture of metal bipolar plates and is a key technology to improve the power of fuel cell stacks.However,challenges such as process complexity,adhesive layer stability,and cost remain to be addressed.[ConclusionslLaser adhesive welding will playan important role in the future welding of metal bipolar plates.
