Abstract: Advances in Plant Nutrition Research course is a crucial professional skill course for graduate students in the field of agronomy and seed industry within the context of new agricultural science. The ideological and political reform of Advances in Plant Nutrition Research course is an inevitable choice and effective approach to achieve the goal of training high-level personnel with comprehensive application-oriented skills in agronomy and seed industry under the background of new agricultural science. This paper analyzed the necessity of implementing ideological and political teaching in Advances in Plant Nutrition Research course based on the concept of Three Complete Education, established a comprehensive curriculum ideology and political system, ensured holistic coverage throughout all stages of educational objectives, and quantified scientifically the impact of ideological and political teaching on various aspects through full participation. The study aimed to provide reference for Advances in Plant Nutrition Research course development of postgraduate education in relevant agricultural colleges in China.
