Abstract：CuiliNo.5 isa new F1 cultivar of pumpkin（Cucurbita maxima）which was developed by inbred line S31-1 as female parentand inbred lineS1O2-asmaleparent.Thefirst femaleflower node is locatedinthe7.6thnodes.The percentage of nodes with female flower to total nodes is 51.1% ，and the number of fruits per plant is 6.Its fruit shape is flat spherial，anditscoloroffruitis green withlight greenlongitudinal stripesanddots.Theaverage single fruit mass is 980g The starch content of flesh is 4.45% ，the soluble solids content is 3.17% . Cuili No.5 exhibits resistance to powdery mildew and Fusarium wilt.The new cultivar hasa good yield of about 1918.22kg⋅667m-2 .It takes about 76.1 days from sowing to harvest. It is suitable for spring open-field planting in Zhejiang province.
