Abstract:Inordertoscreenoutthevarietiesofnon-headingChinesecabbagesuitableformechanizedcultivationinthe middleand lowerreachesof the YangtzeRiver,13varieties were cultivated with Xiafei 599asthecontrol.The variety Jinpinxiaguanwasselectedforitsuprightplantarchitecture,highestyield,lowestnitritecontent,andsuitabilityforechanicalharvesting.ToexplorethemechanzationcharacteristicsfJnpinxiaguan,theyield,harvestingeciencyand economicbenefitwereconductedunderdifferentsowingdatesanddensities.Theexperimental includedfourdensities: 1560 plants ⋅667m-2 (D1),1280 plants ⋅667m-2 (D2),1000 plants ⋅667m⋅2 (D3),720 plants ⋅667m⋅2 (D4),and three sowing dates: April 3rd ,2023(M1),August 13th ,2023(M2)and November 6th ,2023(M3). The results showed that under the samesowingdensity,theM2hadthecharacteristicsoflowleakage lossrate,highintegrityrateandlowimpurityrate, and the yield,output value and economic benefit were the higher thanthat of,M1and M3.Underthesame sowing date, withtheincreaseofthesowing densitytheleakagelossrate,damagerate,impurityratedecreased,whiletheintegrity rate,yield,outputvalueincreased.TheeconomicbenefitofJinpinxiaguansowninM2increasedwiththeincreaseofsowing density,and the benefit of D1 reached 6 255.62 yuan ⋅667m⋅2 .For the M1 and M3 sowing dates,although higher seed amount increased the yield andoutput value,the associated seed cost alsorose,with economicbenefit peaking at the D2 sowing density. The feasible combination recommend is M2+D1 Ml+D2 or M3+D2
