Abstract In order to investigate the effects of sublethal doses ( LC10 and LC30 )of different acaricides on the growth and reproduction of Tetranychusurtice,eviuleneofacaricidestomaleadultiteandsofTetrancusurticeeredeteidusig tesprayeod,d theefectsofitonthegrowthandreproductionofTtranychusurticewereanalyzdbythelifeabletechnque.Theresultsshowedthathe (204号 LC30 and LC10 of bifenazate were 3.53 and 0.65mg/L for female adult mites, 4.93 and 1.12 mg/L for eggs,respectively; the LC30 and LC 10 of cyflumetofen was 1.22and 0.31 mg/L for female adult mites, 3.52 and 1.08mg/L for eggs,respectively. Comparing with the clear water control group,treating femaleadult mites and eggs ofthe Tetranychus urticae withsublethal dosesof bifenazate andcyflumetofen ( LC10 and LC30 ), respectivelytprevosipdseiantlyediftrtgosndpoid duction,thesurvivalrateandthehatchingrateoftheTtranychusurticae weresignficantlyreduced,withthelowestindexesinthe LC30 treatment group. Net reproductive rate ( R0 ),population doubling time(Dt)and average generation calendar (T) showed a decreasing trend, while circumscribed growth rate (λ) and endowed growth rate (rm )increased. The study showed that the sublethal doses ( LC10 and LC 30 )of bifenazate and cyflumetofen were effective in controlling the growth and reproduction of the Tetranychus urticae.
