AbstractObective]Indertoeducetheologicalsafetyrisks,ontrolthetectioncosts,ndshortenteevaluationperidoffotad mouthdiseasevacinfcacy.Method4batchsofiactivevacinesforOtypepigfotandmouthdiseaseproducedbChiaAltural Veterinary Biotechnology Co.,Ltd.were selected to detect their immune efficacy( PD50 )inpigsand the serum antibody level in immunized mice.The correlation between the above two indicators was also analyzed.[Result] The PD50 values of the 14 batches of vaccines ranged from 7.49to15.59,allofhichwerehghertantatofnatioaltandrdecorrelationcoefintsetweenteaverageantibdylevelsand PD50 in mice immunized with 1.0,0.5and 0.33mL doses were 0.89,0.95 and O.92,respectively.Among them,the correlation between the antibody level and PD50 was highest in the 0.5mL immunization dose group.[Conclusion]The feasibility of using the serum antibody levels of mice immunized with 0.5mL dose to replace the animal evaluation of foot and mouth disease vaccine eficacy is the highest.
