Abstract Using the IPCC method and Guidelines for the Provincial Iventory of Greenhouse Gas(Trial) ,the greenhouse emissions of animal husbandryfrom212to22inXinjiangProductionandConstructionCos(XPCC)intermsoftotalmissions,emissonsscue,and spatialvariatioaracteristsreaadesultsshodatialusbandrygreoueessosinXPCCicreadaryyar from 2012 and peaked in 2017,the total emission reached 266.61×104 《 CO2 -eq),and then decreased. The largest greenhouse gas emissions from animal husbandry are CH4 emisions from enteric fermentation of livestock and poultry,accounting for 82.55% of the total greenhouse gas emissions,followed by N2O emissions from livestock and poultry manure management,and finally CH4 emissions from livestock and poultry manuremanagement.Greehousegasemissosfromlivestockandoultryainlycomefromcatle,sheep,andpigs,ountingforrean 75% ofthetotalgreenhousegasemissionsfromtheanimalhusbandryindustryofXPCC,folowedbypoultry,horses,camels,anddonkeys. ThroughteaalysisoftespatialangeofgreouegasmissosoflvestockandpoultryinXiO1KekedlaCityofthefourh Division had the largest greenhouse gas emission,which was 43.84×104 t( CO2 -eq),while Kunyu City of the 14th Division with the smallest greenhouse gas emission only had 4.71×104t(CO2-eq) ). The linear regression prediction of greenhouse gas emissions from animal husbandry in past years shows that greenhouse gas emissions from animal husbandry in XPCC are still increasing.
