Ananalysis of crop strawutilization based on costs and benefits

AbstractThisstudy tookthe2O19-2O23cropyielddataofXinghua City,JiangsuProvinceastheresearchobject. combined with parameterssuch as thestraw-to-grain ratio andcolection coeffcient,constructed estimation models for the collectibleamountofstraw aswellas the valueofstraw forfertilizerandfuelpurposes,systematicallycalculatedthe cost-benefitofdiferentutilzationmethods (fertiler,fuel,feed,substrate,andrawmaterial),andproposedotiition measures based on the regional utilization status.Theresults showed thatthecollectibleamountof straw in the study area showed a steady growth trend,reaching1.2245milion tons in2023;the potential economic value of straw utilization forbiogasproduction was thehighest(1.647billonyuan),ifallthebiogas wasutilized,thetheoretical calculation showed that the average incomeof cultivated land will increaseby13 218 yuan per hectare.The comprehensive utilization rate of straw was 95.2% ,and the utilization structure was dominated by fertilizer use (accounting for 77.22% ).Cost-benefit analysis indicated thatthe net benefit of straw utilizationas feed was the highest (117.5 yuanper ton),whiletheutilizationofstrawforpower generation,biogas production,and papermaking was greatly fected by factors such as technology and market conditions.The study area had great potential for straw resource utilization,butthere wereproblemssuchasunbalancedutilization structureandlowindustrializationlevelofff-field strawutilization in someareas.It was suggested to promote the diversified comprehensiveoff-field utilizationof straw and contribute to agricultural sustainable development byimproving the strawcollection,storage,and transportation system,cultivating demonstration enterprises,andpopularizing high-eficiencyutilization technologies.Thispaper providedareferenceforthediversifiedcomprehensiveutilizationof strawatthecounty levelandthesustainable development of agriculture.
