Analysis of the practice of scientific research institutes supporting the construction of scienceandtechnologybackyards

AbstractTo explore theservice promotion model of agricultural scientific research institutes participating in scienceand technology backyardsand improve theeficiencyof scientificandtechnological services，this studytok the participationof scientific research institutes intheconstructionof science and technology backyards as an entry point andconductedasystematic studyontheconstruction practiceof Sanming orchid science and technology backyards.The results showed thatrelyingon the fivefoundations of scientificand technological innovation，talents，researchand development platform，scientificand technologicalservices，and institute-enterprisecooperationofscientificresearch institutes，thescientificandtechnological backyards had formedacharacteristic practical model featuring technologyempowered whole-industry-chainservices，application-oriented R&D guidedbyscientificand technologicalinnovation， andcompound talentcultivation through talent incubation.Ithad promoteda totalof 50oOoO seedlingsofnewand high quality orchid varieties，increasedanadditionaleconomicoutput valueofover1O millonyuan，andachievedremarkable results.Meanwhile，theconstructionof thescientificandtechnological courtyard was temporarilyfacedwithproblems such asinsuficientfundsupport，looseconnectionamong industry，educationandresearch，limitedabilitytoexpand the industrialchain，and imperfectinterestconnectionmechanism.Accordingly，thisstudyputforwardcountermeasursand suggestions including expanding fund-raising channels，strengthening the collaborative cooperation among industry， educationandresearch，improving theability to expandthe industrial chain，andoptimizing the interestconection mechanism.This studycould provide references for agricultural scientific research institutes to promote theconstruction of scienceandtechnology backyards，deepen the transformationof scientificandtechnologicalachievements，and enhance agricultural scientific and technological services.
