Current situationand high quality development path of the Iliciumverum industry in Funing County

AbstractThis studyanalyzed thedevelopmentstatus ofthe Illicium verumindustry inFuningCounty，Yunnan Province，pointedout theaspects that needed tobe improved，andput forward corresponding countermeasures.Asacore majorproducingarea，FuningCounty hadformedalarge-scale industrial paternbyvirtueof itslong planting history and brandadvantages suchas thegeographical indicationof“Funing Ilicium verum".In2O23，the planting area of Illicium verum in the county reached 47 200hm2 （accounting for 11.3% of the national total），with an output of 152000 tons offresh fruitsandanannualoutput valueof1.824 billon yuan，driving an increase in income for 280 000 people.Thecontents ofcore componentssuchas volatileoil，anethole and shikimic acidin its dried fruits were superior to those in similar producing areas，and it had obtained manycertifications including“Hometown of Chinese llicum verum”and“Hometown of Yunnan Medicinal Materials”. However，At thattime，the folowing aspects of the industry required focused attention： mixed varieties led to low-efficiency forests accounting for 49% ; processing mainly relied on traditionaldecentralized modes with insuffcient alocationof modern equipment;thearea oforganic planting bases was only 80hm2 （accounting for 0.17% ），resulting in short industrial chains and low added value; brand promotion lacked systematicplanning，leading toinsuffcientmarketrecognition.Based on these findings，countermeasures were proposed，including improved fine variety breedingandrefined forest land management，standardizedconstructionof gren planting bases，extensionof the intensive processing industrial chain，and innovation inbrandcultivation and marketing models.The development paths proposed in thisstudycould provide supportfor the high qualitydevelopment of theIlliciumverumindustryinFuningCountyandalsooferreferenceforthedevelopmentofsimilarcharacteristic agricultural product industries.
