Subjective Well-Being of “Special Forces-Style" Tourists

- APush-Pull Motivation Theory Perspective

Abstract:Basedonthepush-pullmotivationtheory,thisstudyconstructsanintegratedmodelof“push-pullmotivation—touristsatisfaction—subjective well-being” to explore the phenomenon of“Special Forces Style”tourism. A mixed-methods approach was used, whichinvolvedepthiterviesitlgesuentsih“Specialrctltouxpercetdentifotiaioal sions,along with 423 valid questionnaires collected online and offline ( 52% from the 18-25 age group, 45% students). SPSS 27.0 and AMOS26.Owereemployedforfactoranalysisandstructuralequationmodelingtests.Thefindingsshowthat:(1)Pushmotivationcludes fourdiensions:self-actualizationcompetenceimprovement,noveltyseking,andeficienttravel,whilepullmotivationcosistsof tourismevironent,aractiolayoutandulturallandscape;(2)othpushandpullmotivatioshavesifcantpositivetstou istsatifaction;(3)othtpftivationeertadirectpitivetonsjectivewelleing;(4)ouristsatisfactioplaatial mediating role between motivation and well-being.
