"Paoding Jieniu （The Butcher Ding's Dissection of the Ox）"： The Key to Unraveling the Mysteries of Chinese Wisdom

Abstract：The Zhuangzi parable“Paoding Jieniu”containsprofoundphilosophical wisdom.Itexplainsthestarting pointof Daoist thought，clarfiestheconcretemeaningof“TianenHeyi（hamonybetwenhumanityandnature）”andrevealsthepathofmbodiedepe rience tounderstandtheworldandgrasptheDao，thusuncovering themysterisofChinesewisdom.Thisuniqueunderstandingandpursuit of theDaoforms thecommonoriginofbothDaoismandConfucianism.Fromthisstartingpoint，wecanprovideamorecomprehensiveinterpretationofDaoistandConfucianthoughtandclearlyrevealthereasonsfortheirdivergences.Thiswisdomconstutes theunquessof Chinese culture and servesas a remedy for Western“dualism".
