[Abstract]Periodontitisisanon-communicabledisease.As China transitionsintoanaging culture,periodontitis hasemergedasasignificantoralhealthconcernamong theseniorpopulation.Itis theprimarycauseofedentulisminthegeriatricpopulation.Chrysinemonatesdveseayofogicalaos,compsingntflammatoyndtbactealpopert posessesconsiderablepotentialfortepreventionandtreatmentofpriodontaldiseasebecausetoitssafety,on-toxicitydinimumadversersposesChrsincanpreventandtreatpriodoitisbyiibitingteexpressionofiflamatoryfactorsiatesps sionofnuclearfactor-kB(NF-B)signalingpahway,Janusinase(JAK)/signaltransducerandactivatorofranscripton(TAT) signalingpathway(JAK/STAT),andmitogen-activatedproteinkinase(MAPK)signalingpathways.ThisarticlereviewsadvancementsinesearchegardingthesignaltransductionmechanismofChrysininthepreventionandtreatmentofperiodontitisferingaeference for clinical practice.
