[Abstract]ObjectiveTo evaluate the eficacyand safetyof tegoprazancombined with minocyclinedual therapy ineradicating Helicobacter pylori（ Hp ）infection in elderly patients.MethodsA total of1OO elderly patients with Hp infectionwere selected andrandomlydivided intoatreatmentgroupandacontrolgroup，with5Opatientsineach group.Thetreatmentgroupreceivedacombinationtherapyof tegoprazanandminocycline，whilethecontrolgroupreceivedatraditionalfour-drugregimencontainingbismuth. Thetreatmentdurationforbothgroupswas14days.TelephoneorWeChatfolow-upwasconductedondays7and14of treatment torecordmedicationadherenceandadversereactions.Acarbon-13orcarbon-14ureabreathtestwasperformed4weeksaftertreatment completionIntentio-t-reat（I）aalysis，modifieditentio-to-treat（M）analysis，ndper-protocol（P）aalysiswerused tocompare Helicobacterpylori eradicationratesbetwenthetwogroups，aswellastocompareadversereactionincidenceatesand treatment adherence.ResultsThe eradication rates of the treatment group and the control group were 88. 0% and 76.0% by ITT analysis， 89.8% and 77.6% by MITT analysis，and 91.7% and 90.5% by PP analysis，respectively；among these three analysis methods，theeradicationatesofthetreatmentgroupwerehighertanthoseofthecontrolgroup，ndtediferenceasnotstatiticallyig nificant （ P>0.05 ）.The compliance rateof the treatment group was higher than that of the control group，andthe difference was not statistically significant （ P>0.05 ）. The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group， and the difference was statistically significant （ P<0.05 ）. ConclusionThe combination therapy of tegoprazan and minocycline is safe andeffctivefortreatingHelicobacterpylrifectioninelderlypatints，ndompaedwiththebismuthcontainingquadrupleerapy， it has fewer adverse reactions，making it worthy of clinical promotion and application.
