Abstract: Heat shock protein(Hsp)is aclass of molecularchaperones produced byorganismsunder heat stress orother environmentalstimuliandplaysimportantroles inabioticstressresponses.Inthisstudy,theHspgene familyinthePleurotus ostreatus CCMSSCCoo389 strain was identified by bioinformatics,and itsexpresson patterns under heatstress were analyzed.The results showed that a total of 27 PoHsps were identified in the P. ostreatus genome and were unevenly distributed across 11 chromosomes.The analysis resultsofcis-acting elements in gene promoters show that hormone-responsivecis-acting elementsacountforthelargestproportion.Furtherinvestigationrevealedthatunderheatstresatdifferenttemperatures,theexpressonpatternsofPoHspscouldbebroadlyclassified intofivecategories:PoHspl9expression gradually decreased with increasing temperature; PoHsp7and PoHsp24 expression did not significantly change underdifferenthatstresconditions;ndtheexpressiopatersofp,PoHp4,PoHp,andPHspl5prestedsimilarexpressionpatterns,allofwhichinitiallydecreasedbutthenincreased;however,theotherPoHspsgraduallyceased with increasingstress temperature.These findingssuggest thatPoHspsmay have functional diferences inresponse to various stressconditions.Thisstudy providesafoundationforfurtherfunctionalcharacterizationoftheHspgenefamilyin P. (20 ostreatusunderabioticstress.
