Research on the Promotion of Immersive Reading Murder Mystery Games in Libraries

Abstract: This study explores theapplication valueand implementation paths of murder mystery games inpromoting immersive readinginuniversitylibraries.AsGenerationZbecomesthemainbodyofcolegestudents,theirdigitalandinteractivereadingpreferencescontrastsharplywiththesingularityoftraditionalpromotionalmethods,leadingtolowparticipationratesinlibraryreading promotionactivities anddecliningutilizatioofcolectionresources.Theresearchstartsfromthcurrentstateof themurdermystey gameindustry,nationalreadingpoicyrentatios,bhaviralcharacteristicsofGenerationZraders,andthechallngesfacedbyun iversitylibraryreading promotions.Itcombinesflowtheoryandthepsychologicalmechanismsofimmersivereading tosystematialy analyzetetheoreticalfoundationforintegrating murdermysterygamesintoreading promotion.Thestudyproposesfourdimensionsof immersivereading,deconstructstheeducationalvalueof murdermsterygames,discuesstrategiesforadaptingliteraryclassicIs intoscripts,andoutlineselementsofimmesiveinteractivedesign.Throughcaseanalysisandpracticalvalidation,athreedision alevaluationfmeorkissucddingricipaioateinuondisactio.estudylsolo mizationstrategissuchasbalancingcopightprotectionandcontentinnovation,andthrasformationpathsforlibaansols.he resultsshowthatmurdermysterygamescanefectivelyenhancetheparticipationrate,depthoftextunderstanding,andreadinginter est of Generation Z readers,providing new ideas for innovative practices in university libraries.
